The good news - its finally going to happen. The boat launch is going to be repaired and will be a much improved facility. The bad news, it will require shutting down the boat launch from roughly mid August to mid September to make the repairs needed. This timing is driven by fish migration patterns and maintaining appropriate fish habitat in the lake. Delaying repairs to later in the year could compromise fish habitat and salmon spawning patterns. Therefore, a little pain this year and lots of gain in future years. For those who have experienced the challenges we now have with the boat launch, we trust that you will understand.
I briefly heard something about a dock being in the future for the boat launch once funds are secured. I'm curious as to the size of the proposed dock and what the expected timeline is on it. Not sure if you have that information but if you do I'd like to hear.

The long term concept plan does call for a dock but we don't see funding available to complete this for at least the next 5 years. Our first and highest priority has been to repair the boat launch. If you are interested, I do have a concept plan for the boat launch area including the dock and can email a copy to you. Just let me know.
